which style valve spring compress

I rented two valve spring compressor to install the valves and both did not work:





Which style of valve spring compressor do i need for my 1995 Maxima?

Never used one, but JWT makes one thats not too expensive to buy.

I ended up ordering a proper valve keeper remover and installer from Amazon, overnight shipping:


Lisle 36050 Valve Keeper Remover and Installer
More info here

Lets see how this works out.


EDIT 02: Cancelled Lisle 36200 and ordered Lisle 36050, since the 36200 had comments on Amazon that it would not work with "small" engines

Are you installing GTR titanium valve springs that you picked up over the counter from nissan parts?

No they were the original ones.



I got the Valve keeper remover/installer today and it worked very well. Heres a video of me installing one valve:

Hmm...good to know which ones the 4th gen uses and you did a demonstration on install. You should include removal and then have moderators add to stickies.
