New Super-imposing Ads = Super Annoying!!

Any one else notice the new super imposing ads? One I have pop up and overlay itself on the forum is from Discover.

Is this what Maxima.org has come to? This is pathetic and beyond annoying. Header, footer, edge ads.....fine. But I HIGHLY RECOMMEND DOING AWAY WITH superimposed ads. If the forums are that
Hard up for funds, I suggest a push for more donations occure. I've not donated in several years and would be more than happy to do so again, especially if it got rid of those ads!!

What needs to be done? Do I need to start a petition?

click on the link...get me the URL that it goes to. i'll get it removed.

think of the ads as a program. we linked up to a program and it'll randomly throws in the ads. so some might see an annoying ad...some may not...but if there are ads that are blocking you from using the forum click on it and get me the exact URL and i'll get them to take it off.
