Some tool ran me off the road last night

Driving in old town Slidell, when I notice a ~95 Neon heading towards me travelling the wrong direction on a 1 way road.

To avoid a head on collision, had no choice to drive my Maxima against a brick wall going about 15 to 20 mph.

It left about a 6 foot by 1 foot paint scratch, most of down to the metal,

My plan is once the air dries out, clean it, spray some primer, some matching paint and finish it off with clear cloat.

Damn I'm pissed.

I hate neons. Did you chase the guy? Got his plate number perhaps? You should have just crashed into him and have him pay your car.

Wtf. If he was going the wrong way and just happened to side swipe you he'd be paying for damages. I would have taken the hit. Lol

Was it his ratchet, hammer, screwdriver, or pry bar that ran you off the road? You said "a tool" so I'm interested to see what kind of tools Neon drivers are using to run people off the road.

As others have said...take the hit, sideswipe. Maybe next time, but hopefully there is never a next time. I would recommend you get comprehensive insurance as that would cover your damages (less your deductible). Comp insurance isn't terribly expensive...depending on where you live.

speaking of nissan and z06, a guy brought in a 240sx that he imported from california for inspection. He has a z06 engine in it. Never seen anything like it in person. the thing was NICE!

Never seen a corvette engine in 240? You must be new to the import scene lol. Now the Z06 I suppose is a bit more rare but then again the year matters a lot

Yea, i was shocked seeing that.. So you must see more than average lol. Ive noticed out my way there isnt much in regards to tuned jap. imports, its mostly older muscle cars or euros.

I cant hate on Euros so much but I really dislike modern muscle because most of the people who drive them think they are driving an Enzo or something and hate every import. I can appreciate a good modified american car but I see a stock mustang or Camaro literally every 5 miles around here, it is absurd.

Yea the tuner near me is nuts. They made a custom block similar to an LS bored and stroked something serious that is going into a 240, it is a thing of beauty. Then again, they are big into drifting so it goes hand in hand. Wish I had a picture. Name is Lethal Injection, look them up on FB, they have a bunch of neat pictures.
