Go with the superwhite platinum not the ion one. I'm running the platinum H3 55 watts. VERY NICE LIGHT!

the ions look nice in the fogs, some people have problems with them burning out too fast.

Found this link to yahoo shopping. The h3 super plasmas are on sale for $31.95 and the ion crystal yellow h3 for $26.95.

But wait there's more! You get a free gold piaa key chain with a purchase over $25.

Not sure what the shipping costs are though.

There was a thread on this a couple weeks ago. Everyone that had them said they loved them. I ordered a set yesterday.

Here are a couple places:

http://www.sportscar-parts.com/bulbs.html]

You can also get them at http://www.nopi.com. I can't get the site to come up right now, so I can't get the exact address, but they are $23 a bulb at NOPI. I got mine from NOPI and it was $54.76 shipped.

That was my bad. I thought it was for the set and thus a good price. You sound really peeved though. If I got you excited for nothing I'm sorry dude. I don't blame you though since I was excited too, in fact so excited I ordered from them as well. However I have you to thank for keepin me and the rest of the .org informed.

Dooood. I don't normally get in the middle of other people's pi$$ing matches but like, what's your problem? He admitted his error and apologized for it. What more do you want?

Did someone whiz in your Cheerios this AM or what? Chill.

It's ironic that you're letting this one die since you're the one that started the flames to begin with. By the way I was being sincere in my previous posts. Again my intentions were not to rip off anyone on the org. I'm sorry if you got the wrong impression but I guess that just exemplifies the limitations of communicating via the internet. I guess that's life.

Best regards,

I got 2 PIAA Ion H3's for $35 shipped from some guy on eBay (made him an offer off of eBay and he accepted). I LOVE the yellow\Ion look although I have to agree that my last ones did burn out quickly. I don't really care tho, for $35 a pair and the last ones lasted about a year, I can handle that.

Shoot! only a year? Man, I hope mine last longer than that. For the price, they should last at least as long as OEM, methinks. My OEM's lasted about 6 years. I paid about what you did, only because of an internet pricing error, but still, I'd like to at least get a couple years out of 'em. . .

whats up with you man ? he was trying to help , and appologized when he was wrong. thats whats going wrong with the board lately, people getting mad when others try to help them out a little, and maybe make a mistake. a little grumpy today.

Im guessing your age isnt to high. cause im 18 and i dont talk to other people like that , just out of respect.

I dont wanna get envolved, but for real , its all fun here just be buds with everyone.

Like I said, I'm letting this thread die. And I'm older than you so you are wrong. If you were smart, you would check out my profile before opening your mouth.. He got on my bad side by saying "Doh" to me....so let it die and not bring it up again..

Doh vs. Duh

Can we chalk this up to a big misunderstanding & just move on?

Hard to believe, but this big mess seems due to the fact that some people are fans of the TV show "The Simpsons" and some are not.

"Doh" is not to be confused with "Duh," which is entirely different.

"Doh" is a self-depricating expression one uses when they admit to making an error of some sort. Popularized by a character who makes plenty of his own: Homer Simpson. (It's a self-humbling gesture)

Example:

Mr. Burns:
"Simpson! Was that depleted uranium, or my key to the city you just threw in the radioactive disposal hopper?"

Homer Simpson:
"Doh! I always get those confused. . ."

Ooooookkkaaaaaaay?!?! Writing & reading are mediums that can open up a lot of things to interpretation if one (or both) are not 100% clear, unfortunately. This was another fine example.

Can we all just get along, now?

P.S: Watch The Simpsons! I command you all! Fun for the whole family. . .
