both my fourth gen and fifth gen make that same noise in the morning after the parking brake has been on over night. Do you leave your parking brake on over night? Does the problem go away? There are a few ways I normally realize a caliper is sticking; the car feels like you are pusing the brakes when you are not, smell burning brakes after driving normal, the wheel will be extreamly hot, fuel mileage is way off.

In the end every maxima I have had, I have had to replace calipers on. It seems as if they are prone to fail. The good news is, is that they are cheap and easy to change. Just remember to bleed your brakes once you are done.

Gas mileage has changed big time. Is the a good website you recommend i purchase a new caliper or should i buy a used one at a junkyard?
