Dunlop SP8000 Old technology that sticks like glue and give a nice smooth ride. Read the feedback section on Tirerack on all the suggestions you get from us .org members, then pick one and run like mad.

If it's in your budget, get Toyo Proxes T1-Ss. They are super sticky, quiet, and last a long time (for an ultra-high-performance tire).

Have to agree & disagree ...

I have the Toyo Proxes T1-S's.

Yes .. they are super sticky .. even in the rain!!!

No .. they do not at all last a long time ... maybe it's relative to other tires .. but they definately won't last a year .. they are a pure performance summer tire.

My advice .. get the Kumho's ... I've heard nothing but good things about them .. & at that price .. u just can't go wrong!

I got over 40,000 miles out of my T1-Pluses, and it looks like my T1-Ss are gonna last that long. I drive my car hard daily on twisty country roads and the occassional freeway onramp and off ramp and quick turns. So my tires get more-than-average abuse. Did you have T1-Ss?

Toyo Proxes FZ4's blow, they are the loudest tires you can ever have @ an speed. They didnt last that long about 20K miles. They may look nice with rims but damn do they suck

Go for the Kuhmo's. That's what I have and I'm very satisfied. On a small budget, they're the best bang for the buck.
If you had unlimited money to spend, then BF goodrich TA
g-force/Michelin pilot MXX3/ or Dunlop Sp9000 would be the best all around tires.

Do you run on race tracks? I know that will shorten the life span of a tire considerably.
