I hate Amber!

I know you guys have read this a lot , but I'm one of those guys who bought his 2012 Maxima and now can't stand the amber display.
I can't seem to find anything to replace the display with a color display and still have full functionality (temp+wheel controls).
Has anyone out there found a decent after-market replacement?

Thank for the help!

The only option I have seen that allows the retention of the temp. info. after replacing the amber screen is from the Chinese. If someone with the color screen non-navi. could tell us how the climate control is connected to the color screen. Then maybe a solution could be found.

i havent seen anyone who has integrated OEM functions (climate control, etc) into aftermarket screens. only thing I've seen people done is replace the amber screen with something aftermarket and relocated a bunch of stuff to the glove box

Most have relocated the temp info screen to the glove box. One guy installed it below the radio.

My Solution

I replaced my stock radio in my 2013 Max with a Pioneer AVH 4000 NEX, which is a really cool double DIN stereo w Car Play and every other function I need. I found a VU Meter that fit nicely in the space. It looks cool and functions. Just google LED VU Meter Single DIN.
