Freshly dropped and waxed

I know there's plenty of threads about the eibach drop but wanted to share my install experience as well. Had a day off work so finally decided to install the eibach kit I've had about a month now. Rented a spring compressor kit from autozone and let me tell you, that was the sketchiest tool I've ever used. I was going by the DIY write up from this board which was extremely helpful but after using this tool for about 20 min we said **** it and took the front coils off and paid a local shop 40 bucks to switch out the springs. The backs were a breeze, but one more tip, if you and your buddy are both drinking moonshine during the install remember to tighten the lug nuts, almost had a very bad situation. Anyways after 3 days of settling and 2 coats of mcguires ultimate wax here's some before and afters:

Not sure if all springs are this way but with our fronts there was not enough clearance to get them 180 degrees apart and on 3 coils so no matter how we did it it seemed dangerous, well worth 40 bucks and the rest of install was simple.
Overall love the drop, looks awesome and drives like the car should have stock. Do not feel like I lost any ride quality but it corners so much smoother, much less body roll and confidence especially on on/off ramps and going over bumps while turning no longer gives me the wavy boat effect I dreaded. Got the car on lease for another 32 months or so and after this almost confident ill buy it out after lease. Now onto a rear sway then reinstall my system from old car, then paint trim flat black.

Looks great man! So nice and clean.

My friend and I used the exact same spring compressor and I'll tell you what: it was a ***** to use. We had trouble positioning them to fully compress the spring right and needed the aid of bar clamps to further push them down. It would have been better if we had maybe a third or forth arm/compressor to evenly push down the spring (Oreily's only had one available at the time).

Next time, I'm doing what you did and getting a shop to swap them out!

Side note for any prospective do-it-yourselfers
Those two-piece compressor sets: I DO NOT RECOMMEND USING THEM. If you really want to, good grief, oil them and make sure the lock bolts are secure and work slowly, making sure each side is even.

Ghozt, the second I decide I'm buying out my lease I'm doing LEDs like yours and the black trim and someday the lip. Your car is what mine someday hopes to be haha. Any full color pictures from your car in the latest sig?

Question to anyone else that has eibachs, did everyone get an alignment after or is it not necessary? I notice a real slight pull right during heavy braking but other than that it seems fine. I don't wanna get one if its not mecessary

I got an alignment. I know many people do, but some do not.
