There is a tube or hose underneath the new air intake but their is no opening for the intake. Does this tube stay open. There is only one opening for a little tube but thats it. I left it alone and it it sounds ok. Is this normal with a new stillen air install?

Thanks man. I just left it alone. The pipe goes no where and it can be left alone after you install your new intake.

 

I never even noticed it I am about to check and see if mine is there...

 

that tube does nothing other than generate noise for the stock intake. yes - generate noise.
