I have decided to do a progress thread on this thing. I was going to wait until it was a little closer, but here goes.

Car: 2003.5 Infiniti G35 Sedan Sport 6MT
Rated HP/TQ: approx 260 HP 260 TQ

Got it bone stock @ 170,000km (105,600 mi)

First day of ownership:








1st Mods:

-Swapped custom ordered HikkataDori style trunk
-Upgraded to 05/06 Tailights
-Z-Tube intake with custom baffle/resonator delete on all remaining components






2nd Mods:

-JDM Motorized folding mirrors.
Custom wired to operate with Key Fab Lock/Unlock, manual JDM switch shown below as well which can bypass the auto feature or shut it off, heated mirror swap, and custom flush mounted puddle lights

 

3rd Round of Mods:

-19" G37S Rims. 8.5" Front, 9.0" Rear
-Falken 452 Tires - 245/40/19 Front - 275/35/19 Rear
-Fidanza Lightweight Flywheel
-Exedy Stage 1 Clutch
-RS*R Coilovers (mad JDM yo)
-SPC Front Camber Arms
-SPC Rear Camber Arms
-SPC rear toe bolts









Waiting on parts so decided to paint up a few items, mainly the wheelwells, which always looked super dirty/faded, hopefully this helps.

As humble as we all know I'm often NOT, I'll point out that this is the first of it's kind ever recorded. Now. Humble time.

Decided to get a new Gauge face designed and custom made for this, I modelled some of it of the 5th Gen SE Gauges. Piano Black:

This is very close to the finished product, I'm finishing the Audio unit now





I pulled the LED's out of the area around the LCD screen because I thought it was a bit too much. But here's some videos of some prelim testing. Aweful videos.

I've decided I'm getting the trunk Re-Done completely and moulded from the original steel one for perfect fitment and no wavy-lines. That's being done now.

Hope to have a Supercharger running, headlights in, output vids, etc uploading. As well as a complete RGB led conversion and the interior back together, all coming soon.

Engine is running just waiting on headlight wiring/install to get it legal for the road. lots of little stuff!

I gots no problems with that its the mods and parts thats a pita to pick and choose like i have all the cobb tuning stuff but havnt done anything with ite and already have the catless nismo exhaust installed and a few electronic goods like the maf2iat converter and haltec wideband kit i just need a good engine managment piece i have the cobb tuner and maps but without mods its worthless

Yah tuning the GTR is not childs play, especially with that crazy automatic tranny they have.

Did you say you're doing a MAFS delete? That's going to make things easier at least.

And I'm surprised you haven't scooped a set of Cefiros yet dude, just need to hit up JDM ebay or find someone who is bi-lingual and can get stuff from there as a middle man at a reasonable rate.

Very surprised that this actually came together and all works, considering the ridiculous wiring and customization involved in it (imagine 4 wires to every little LED on a tight-*** circuit board, all connected to each other, with resistors on every one, and all the buttons have to work, etc.
If it every breaks I'll give up. LMAO

 

You've done a A+ job on this G35. Great work. Love how OEM+ it is. Especially since it is supercharged and Haltech'd. So sick.

 

Great imagination and execution...In the last year I think I changed the oil 4 times, washed it less than that and got a set of all weather Goodyear floormats lol...

 

Hand-dremeled/filed and engraved the clear screenm Put some DiNoc behind the clear screen,
Somehow, it actually turned out half decent. Peculiar, and not expected.
