SAMs Club / Costco Premium Gas

Anyone use it? Any issues? I'm curious because its about 40 cents cheaper out here and I am considering using it. I typically use Shell V Power.

Thanks!

Costco premium in my 4th gen for half a year, no issues.

It's got the new clean power additive thingy, and meets top tier requirements with 5x cleaning power as required, so its on a par anyhow with V power and Chevron.

I've used shell v power and chevron Supreme exclusively before switching to Costco and I notice no difference whatsoever in performance or mileage.

So with that being said does the same hold true for the Fred Meyer premium gas? I know their discounts also apply to Shell gas.
The lady working there said they were not allowed to discuss where they get the gas.

I find Costco cheaper than Freddies..especially since I don't shop at Freddies.

IOW - I have no idea.

I love the technical terms used on this site. LOL

I've purchased gas at SAMs for years and haven't had any issues.

Sure, generally speaking for octane ratings you would be correct.

Now as far which brands have what level of detergent additives is where they are not equal.
Hence the "quality gasoline" question I believe the OP was asking about.
