Ok so ordered black suede for my 09 maxima headliner. Has anyone replaced there's yet and if so where can I get the weather stripping that has the tan color connectedto it leading into the car or do I have to dye it.

 

I would check with your local dealer. Get a price & part number, then shop around. Courtesy Nissan has good prices, but sometimes local dealers will work with you.

 

I tried calling nissan about it and looking around but the way it's design every where I looked no one has it. So I figured I would ask around and hope someone else got lucky cause I haven't.

 

I would try going to a Nissan dealer's parts department to see if they can help you out. That way, both you & the salesman can look at the parts available on the computer screen right then & there. I've done this in the past. I had better luck that way, than on the phone at times.

If that doesn't work, you can always try some junkyards.

 

If you try searching there was a guy on here that did it and it looked sick! It's been awhile back.

 

I have the glass roof which makes everything twice as difficult

 

I did call and go up to the one in Maryland where in live they said they don't offer it or anything in a different color. Only the tan color which sucks. I didn't know a guy did his yet either. I was gonna try to dye if in couldn't find it. But im gonna try to see if maybe nissan can make in black for a reasonable price that won't kill me or make me broke lol

 

Let us know what you come up with. I hate the tan color inside our cars too. It's frickin ugly as sin. An all black interior would look downright MEAN! And it would nicely contrast the interior LED's I swapped in.

 

I will definitely let you guys know and will post pictures I did the led swap in my max to besides the gauge cluster so in will post day time and night time photos when I'm done. Still waiting on the black suede and to find the weather stripping in black.
