VE30DE Oil Pan Question

Hey Everyone,
Quick question. Im in need of replacing my oil pan gasket on my VE but when i go to advance auto parts it shows me two different types of gaskets (A full felpro and then a two piece design). I spoke to someone on thier chat service and they said the two piece design is the one for my motor and required alot of gasket maker. Anyone know if this is correct or done this before?

Yes you just need the two half moon gaskets and then liquid gasket.

Important note! For some reason, auto parts catalogs think the VE requires two different half moon size gaskets. So if you buy a kit you'll have a larger gasket and a smaller gasket. The VE requires two half moon gaskets of the same size.

So basically when I'm buying online I always have to buy TWO kits to make one proper kit. If in the store, take a look at the two gaskets they bring you and make sure they're the same size.

*edit* and I can't remember if you need two of the larger or two of the smaller. I know that would be must helpful but I just don't remember.
