Nissan Cuts Maxima And Other Car Prices

It doesn't say how much or if the rebates will be less to compensate

Nothing out of the ordinary, everyone else does it, usually it is a result of removing certain options or features, all in the name of having that low low advertising price

Hera ya go: The Detroit News. The 2013 Altima will be as much as $580 cheaper. Meanwhile, the full-size Armada SUV, which originally started at $42,080, will be priced below the $40,000 mark after a $4400 cut. As for the Sentra, customers will be saving as much as $730 depending on trim level. The Maxima will see discounted MSRPs from $2270 to $3030, while all Rogue trims get cut $2300. The slightly larger Murano crossover will feature MSRPs by $1460-$2410. As with the Altima and Sentra, the Juke’s discounted MSRP starts at $0 for certain trims, but is as much as $1290 with other trims.

I wonder what the difference in the bottom line will be, I got about $7k off sticker with rebates and using the cars direct price.

Will Nissan cut back on/eliminate rebates and will they be as flexible on negotiating sticker price ?

Edit, I see the $3500 rebate has been slashed to $1500 through 7/1/13
