Looks tight. I am thinking about buying the color matched tape form SIGNS. And stick that **** on. That would cost around 10 bucks.

don't get the vinyl. Sure it's cheaper. I have white vinyl on mine and I'm just about sick of it. As soon as I get paid again I'll be ordering the eyelids from Greg. Gotta love em!

I like my eyelids and they are vinyl. Yes I have seen the sarona eyelids in fact, I bought them before but wasnt satisfied with the quality of them. They didnt fit at all. When I mean not fit, I mean that one of them were 2 inches short, leaving about 2 inches of the corner light exposed instead of wrapping all the way around it.

I shure hope mine was an iscolated case of poor quality.

why doesnt anyone make urithane or plastic ones? would look alot better than the fiberglass IMO.

Here's my vinyl eyelids....

I'm going to be doing the local show scene and don't want to have all this vinyl on my car. I need it to be as clean as possible and that's why I think the fiberglass eyelids are the best possible option at the moment..

Don't these "eyelids" mess with your beam pattern. Noone seems to be concerned about the effects it has on the light being put on the road?? Are there any?

My Sarona Eyelids fit perfectly once I got the glue to set up and hold them on. They look MUCH better than vinyl because they look like they were meant to be there, not like they are some cheesy add on. They make the headlights and front end look more aggressive, and they do not at all effect beam pattern of the headlights.
Sorry I havent posted pics yet, I scanned them in, but they are WAY too big in size right now (17MB), I gotta figure out how to save them as a smaller file.
BUY THEM IF YOU CAN, THEY LOOK GREAT!

I would like to see how they look but the last time I saw Saronas, they had uneven edges which look very cheap and they were very unsmooth-as in certain spots were very thin while other parts were thick. Both of Mine didnt even look identical to each other as one was bigger and longer than the other and didnt fit flush with the head light.

The reason I made my vinyl Eyelids is to get a template made for some custom eyelids
Yes I know my eyelids that I have on right now look Bad and Ghetto but thats the reason I bought the Sarona ones but judging by the ones I bought, There was no possible way that they would look/fit better than my ghetto vinyl ones. Im just hoping that mine were the only messsed up ones because it would be sad if thats how they "should" look.

Im in the process on some custom made eyelids that are made out of alluminum which would be painted body colored. I'll see how those will look once I get them done.

Sorry to hear your Saronas didn't fit perfect. Mine did take some patience because I had to wait for the glue to set up enough to hold one part on tight, it kept trying to lift up. Once I got it to stay down, they looked good. Hope your project works with the aluminum.
Didn't mean to offend you about your current eyelids.

I used Glossy Black Krylon from Home Depot. It may have been Rustoleum, I don't remember. The two coats of clear coat. Came out perfectly matched to my black.
