my fan blower selector switch only works on hi.

my fan blower selector switch only works on hi.

do i need another selector switch. also the chime when you leave the keys in the ignition or your lights on when the door is open doesn't work. please help.

i checked all of the fuses.

try doing a search? this has been covered before...I don't know about your door chime, but the resistor in the fan switch is broken...

Any update on this issue? Seems the blower switch on my '98 only works on high - low low/med, and med are completely dead. Same results for AC or heat. No climate control - just a 4 position ****.

they resistor board had to be replaced. it was about 25 dollars from the dealer. do a search on the replacement of the board it is very easy. i replaced it a while back so i don't remember the steps

and I was gonna say the same thing as far as it being the resistor pack. My Jeep has had the same problem.

I had the same issues... It happened to be my resistor for the fan located under the passenger glove box. Just get one from the parts store and replace, then your done. Follow the link that was posted earlier.
