Redline 7100 rpm
I have 2010 only 15000 miles and after putting the Cxj bop took for drive and in D my cars rpm when taking off hit 7000 rpm and held for couple of seconds and I let off never done that before. Def felt more pull. Is this normal? Was afraid it would stay red so didn't let it get close again when taking off.

Sounds like what has happened to me a couple of times in D. It was the CVT that caused the issue I experienced. When I accelerated the RPM's climbed through the roof as if it was in manual mode. I think I was only going like 50 mph when it redlined.
