Speedometer/rpm needle acting weird...

So i was driving about 75 the other day, and my needles randomly went haywire. The speedometer needle jumped to about 105mph, the RPM needle went to 0 and the temp gauge needle went all the way down. It was like my car had a meltdown tht lasted literally for half a second. Any one ever experience this?

is it still doing it? did you hit a pot hole prior? could be a loose connection.
