I pulled the codes from my 96 SE 5sp. I got an evap purge canister code and a manifold absolute pressure sensor code. My car does putt at idle (randomly) and I have degraded performance...hesitation, acceleration seems almost as if I had vtec, the rpms climb slowly and then fast and then cuts out again. Could the MAP sensor code be the culprit? Idle is high as well, 950-1000 rpm and that's as low as it will go even with adjusting.

P.S. I notice the bad performance and misfire when the car has warmed up
