I usually run my car 4-5 times a week (since it is parked for the winter). Today when I started my car, a mouse jumped down from the roof and skidded across my hood leaving two parallel scratch lines. I don't think it penetrated the clear coat but I'm not sure. Do you think (judging by the pictures below) that the scratches can be removed by buffing? I really hope so since I just got a new hood in September.

hmm i'd say you should have to worry bout that, looks like it could be removed with some scartch remover type stuff....

doesn't look to bad from my point of view. I have similar scratches on my car, and my nephew who's worked with cars since the 70's told me my scratches were simply surface scratches. They look the same as yours

 

Do you rub anything other that palms? I'll pay.
