hey Tony, have you got your water temp guage hooked up yet, I am interested in seeing what kind of temps you are getting in comparison to mine.

also how hard was it to hook up the sender the way you said you were going to do it. Do you think maybe you could take a pic of it sometime (if you are not to busy) and post here or send me an email.

thanks

looks good by the way.

welcome to the club, glad to know there is a non-custom solution out there.

Not yet. I got the basic parts ready. Just need to stop by the machine shop and get them to weld on the new fitting. Here are some pictures. I got the HKS water temp sensor pipe. The HKS fitting currently on it is metric and it's too big.

Yes, the lower flip open slot is just a din size opening. If I want, I can just bolt up my HKS din panel in that slot.

Thanks alot Tony

That pipe looks pretty cool. Where did you find that at. Any old shop that sells HKS gauges? I am wondering if you are going to get any different readings than me, should be interesting.

It's a HKS part. Most shops don't carry it, but it can be special order. I got the 34mm O.D.

The panel is about $25. It's the size of a din size radio. Check these pictures for comparison.

Nice info... I have the Voltmeter and Oil Pressure gauges sitting in my room... just needed to pick out another gauge... I see you like the Ultra-Lite line too. I gotta wait until I plumb in an oil cooler kit for my Oil pressure sender.

Are you going to get the 3 gauge warning box? It's only about $70 and will warn you when any of the 3 fall below a settable threshold.

That setup looks sweet. Much better setup than a guage pod setup. Very clean. Then again, everything about your car is sweet and clean. So, we shouldn't be too surprised.

I did the same thing with a Blitz panel... Dremels rule.. Now I have my Oil Pressure Guage in the Din opening... My Panel only fits 1 guage, then also fits 2 1/4 DIN items...the HKS turbo timer is in one and the Fields Fuel Controller will weasel it's way into the other one.

I'm doing both. FP and EGT on the pillar, and eventually AF, oil pressure and oil temp under the radio.

is there a premade double or triple guage din box from hks, or did u get that single din one with the link, and just dremel out the holes? very interested wanted to know how u did it, and what size and company guages are u using?

The HKS I got is premade. The problem is the holes are 46mm. Too small for autometer gauges, so I busted out my dremel with a sanding drum. 30 mins later, the not so perfect larger circles were made.
