Rack and Pinion mount bushings 95 Maxima?

Hi Guys, A friend looked at the car and said it needs rack mount bushings. I bought the bushings and they have a slit in them to slide them over and around the rack. Is this a difficult job or is is just unbolt the clamps and install the new rubber bushings. Thank You in advance

I actually bought a set from the dealer to try and replace mine but after looking at the location and the difficulty to reach those bolts in a tight space, I will hold off until I find out where it is leaking from where the steering attaches...

Agreed - I did this last fall when I was replacing all sorts of front end stuff.

On the passenger side there's a shield for something that I trimmed to give me a better angle at the top bolt.

Sorry, I don't remember. It was a good 2-3 years ago.
