96 Maxima SE auto, parts-car, entire unit $650. ATL. Runs poor, no collision.

For sale in Atlanta is a 1996 Maxima SE Auto, Federal, VIN JN1CA21DXTT712710, 210K mi, one-owner, cherry pearl with grey cloth. $650 as parts-car, salvage, major-involved restoration, or similar. It cannot be driven dependably and many systems are failing, so IMO it does not qualify for listing in the Vehicles for Sale category. It has been a good car to me since new in late 1995 in college, but time and neglect have taken its toll. Selling as a unit; I don't have the ability to part it out.

Daily driver through April 2013. It cranks and runs rough and will overheat within an hour when it needs more coolant. Mechanic diagnosed it as "blown head-gasket" and "catalytic converter ruined". No wrecks, bumpers have road-rash, passenger rear door scraped in parking garage. Condensation in foglights and turn-signals but they operate; moonroof operates fine but shade-panel is off-track. Bose radio, display, and CD work but volume stuck at max. No cassette. E-brake boot and steering wheel leather tattered. Shift-lock servo activated by brake-pedal sometimes sticks. Tach is erratic. CEL on for years (KS, misfire), prior to head-gasket there was occasional engine-skip unable to be solved. When cold, the starter struggles to turn the engine but eventually will crank. Cranks quickly once warm. Good tires, weather-worn paint finish.

Vehicle can be seen at your convenience parked curbside in-town Atlanta 30305 using the following google-map link created only to identify the parking location. No notification needed to look from outside. The nearby residents are not the owners, please contact me to see it crank and run. I have posted many photos that should answer most questions, but please contact me if I can answer additional concerns.

Thanks for reading.
