Ceramic Exhaust Tape
Ceramic Exhaust Tape
I have an idea (watch out I am thinking again
) but need to understand fully the properties of exhaust tape.
In theory, it tries to keep heat (reflecting the heat?) in and not allow change in temperature of the exhaust, thus keeping it warm and creating a better flow. Does this tape work for warm "parts" only? Meaning if we wanted something that is cold to remain cold?
What I was thinking was to wrap the CAI in this tape but I want to make sure that the tape reflects and will not absorb. Hence the need to understand how it truely works.
Anybody that knows, info would be appreciated.
