I feel like an idiot

Replaced my battery today and connected the wrong terminals. It was the same red optima battery, but the terminals were reversed. I blew the 120a fuse at the positive battery terminal (hopefully, that's all). I tried autozone and they didn't have 120a, only 100. I went to 2 nissan service centers and they would need to order it for about $50 bucks! I don't know if they include the entire housing, or what.

2 questions:

1)I'm having difficulty finding it online for some reason. It could be because I don't know if it has a specific name. Can anyone lead me to the right place?

2) Is there a special way to remove the old fuse? Does the white part in the picture below come out using pliers?

Thanks

Welcome to the club bro. Many guys will call you stupid, many would say don't work on your car but the lesson to be learnt is that next time when you're replacing your battery you'll know to double check to make sure your battery positive terminal is north and the negative is south. Hope you find that fuse asap man. You probably could try a used parts shop. That stealership is not your friend.

Yep, lesson learned. I just wasn't paying attention. Once Dennis posted the fuse above, I was able to find it on the Pepboys website so, hopefully they have it in stock. I was searching for 120a fuses and it wasn't pulling up that specific fuse, for whatever reason.

Thanks again.

I also think some places refer to that as a fusable link.might want to check under that section also if its different from the fuses section

Got the fuse (Pal 120a male terminal) from Pepboys and all was well until my kenwood nav radio didn't turn on. I checked the audio fuse under the hood and that was fine. The fuse on the radio was blown. Fortunately, I had extra 15a mini fuses laying around. Back in action!
