knocking noise from rear end (video attached)

OK so this noise has gotten progressively louder over the past couple of weeks and I don't know the cause of it. It sounds like a bad stabilizer link from the front sounds.... but in the back. It's not the wheel bearings, It's not a big heavy clunk like a strut mount. And I notice it more when I go over little holes or cracks, and not so much when I go over a bump.

I was going to say mounts, but you seem sure it's not. That sounds horrid! Are the struts good?

The original owner said they were replaced once but could remember when. I will say the ride is a little bit floaty when going over the expansion joints on the bridge.....

The only noise I've had when mounts go in past cars were chunks..... Not little knocks.... Plus on my max it sounds lower, like under the car kinda sound. Not in the trunk kinda sound.

Check the rear lateral link, could be worn or rear trailing arm bushings. Also your oem jack, trunk lid parts.

Holy f@#$.....last nite I had the wheels to poke around and see if I can find an issue. I thought at this time it would be a good idea maybe put my spacers on , so I installed the extended studs and wheel spacer on the passenger side, mounted the tire, lower the car, took a step back and saw that it was not flush with a 20 millimeter spacer.

It actually is about the same as a driver side right now that does not have a spacer........ Seems like my axle beam is off center? I haven't hit anything and to my knowledge it was never in an accident before I bought it. Do you think this contributes to my knocking noise somehow

ok so I fixed the knocking noise. Turns out the passenger rear had brake pad shims that were the wrong ones for the pads I have. That pads were sitting loosely within the shims, causing the noise.

Now I have to figure out the axle that doesnt seem centered?....Can the be adjusted at all. From the looks of it Id say no but I might be missing something.

It can be adjusted with the qt link, I have the same issue but I hit something back it 2010 with the right side of my vehicle and bent my beam itself, ain't that off so it doesn't bother me because I'm not paying $552 for a new one.

Ok I just might leave mine as it is then. Its not chewing up the tires and not out of alignment. I want to save money for future mods, (torgue link and exhaust....)

Off centered rear beam will leave your steering wheel not straight, but that's the only down fall

Right, it would throw off the thrust. But my Shyt is dead on. Leads me to believe that what ever the issue is or was happened before I bought the car and the alignment has been corrected.
