I have the opportunity to pick up a leather interior from a 2000 Nissan Maxima, would that be a direct swap into my 2002 with cloth interior. One thing that I know is that the leather passenger is power and my cloth is manual. Do I possibly have the connector under the rug. And will everything else fit right in

 

If you are talking about doing the door panels then there is a lot more involved than you think. The window switches have to be swapped. The harness for the window motor won't plug into the new switch so you have to swap the door harness and the window motor, and you have to swap the door lock as well because it uses a different connector.
I bought an 02 door for my 03 and nothing connected electrically and the difference between 01 and 02 is worse.

 

Well the door panels are empty. They have no switches in so I thought I would swap mine into them, is it not that easy?

But it does include 4 door panels, both front power seats, and complete rear seat.

 

Your switches won't fit into the panels.

 

Well that Sucks, how about the inserts on the panels... Like in my car around the door handles the panels are cloth. On the leather interior it's leather.... Can those inserts be swapped?
