Will 5th gen front struts fit on a 4th gen?

As the title states, my buddy has a pair of front struts+lowering springs off his 2002 maxima and was wondering if they would fit my 4th gen? TIA

You would have to re-drill one of the bottom mounting holes on the front strut. Plus, you have to use the 4th gen top hats. Can't speak for how the 5.5 gen lowering springs will fit on your car.

Bottom holes are wider on a 5th gen. Top mounts are the same. Springs are very similar. What struts are they?

I tried 5th gen ksport springs (~2" drop) a few years ago on my 4th gen, my car sat around stock height with them.

GR2's aren't worth the effort needed to make them fit.
