Loose Hose

Looking for help, please. There's a question mark shaped hose in the engine compartment that I cannot find where to attach it to. You can see the hose in the attached picture. It comes up from the bottom of the engine, then it's attached to a bracket, leaving only about 6 or 7 inches of hose that needs to be attached to something. So theoretically, the connection should be within 6 or 7 inches from where the hose is attached, but I can't find where to attach that hose.

Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

Transmission breather hose probably. Looks like it just clips into that clip on the right where your blue line goes through.

That's what it is, and that's where it goes.

I'd much rather have a loose hose any day of the week, just saying.
