Car sounds like an idling diesel.

The car this problem before, and I just replaced the Intake valve timing control bank 2. Which fixed the problem for about a week. The best I can understand is the cam is rattling.

The car create a noise, best described as an idling diesel, when under load, going over bumps, and sometimes deceleration. Before replacing the solenoid it was awful, like you were standing right next to a semi. Now it's feign but still enough to cause concern.

I'm at my wits end with this. I can attempt to provide any info I'm lacking. Any help is much appreciated.

Edit: I forgot to mention it's an 02 Se 6 speed, if that means anything.

Edit 2: I'm quite the idiot. I was rather tired when I wrote this and completely forgot to say that this noise is incredibly random. Or at least it before the replacement started out very random, perhaps would act up for 10 seconds in a 40 minute commute. Then the next day nothing, but the following day do it for the whole commute.

That's possible. Is it something that should be addressed soon?
