After market drilled/slotted rotors

So I wanted to get some drilled/slotted rotors. Was wondering what you guys are running on your cars. Not trying to buy bbk rotors, to much money. Ive heard the ebc are good but was wondering mabey if there are other good ones that are cheaper. Or ebc is just the way to go for around that price. Post pics if can would be great. Thanks in advanced guys.

Been 6 months. Ghost used to use them, thats the reason I got them. They are better than stock plus no problems so far.

Yeah I've ran the alien drilled/slotted for over a year and a half now. about to change over to Centric slotted rotors and Carbotech AX6 pads for more braking power. nothing wrong with the aliens, better than stock, but the pads they come with are crap so if you do go alien get different pads

ghozt just wondering why your going with just slotted rotors now instead of drilled and slotted rotors like you did with the alien brakes

the centric slotted were recommended to me by a whole bunch of people just due to good braking performance and reliability. i never had a problem with my aliens, but since im changing out calipers/pads this time i figured id change the rotor too. sticking with same size, going with the M35 2-piston front OEM brakes

ok I understand that they are better rotors I just wanted to noe why aren't you going with slotted and DRILLED rotors and just slotted, also what kinds of calipers are you going with I was thinking about switching them out too, so I can have a whole new setup in my brake area.

if you ask most people, especially guys who goto the track, slotted seems to get the best results in terms of reliability (not cracking) and brake power. a few even argued that with the drilled rotors, theres less actual metal to disperse the heat from braking so it makes them less effective. i had no problems honestly with mine, but figured id give just slotted a shot and see how it all compares.

for my calipers im looking at the OEM 2006 M35 front calipers. they're 2 piston instead of 1 like ours, and should be direct bolt-on and use our OEM rotor size. guess you can call it a medium brake kit. ha.

Years back I used Power Slot slotted rotors paired Hawk HPS pads. This combination was a lot better than the OEM setup, especially when it came to resisting brake fade. I know that Centric acquired Power Slot a few years back. I plan on using the Hawk HPS pads again, I will take a look at the Centric rotors too.

I used EBC slotted and dimpled rotors with their red stuff pads on my last car and was very happy with them. So happy, the next time I needed brakes, I ordered another set. They were far better than OEMs.

I was really leaning towards those rotors I heard nothing but great things about them and after ghozt told me about the cracking on drilled rotors and heard about it on my research im staying far away from drilled rotors, and alien had a great deal on there rotors also, but id rather pay more money for better quality, 1 more thing do you guys have any pics with the ebc usr on your cars, I would love to see them, thanks for all the info guys

EBCs work really well but I have found on some of my other cars over the years that they wear on the quicker side. They did handle lots of high speed 1/4 mile stops as well as tolerating many days running time attack. Hawk and EBC are best bang for the buck. Post pics and driving impression when done please.

I am considering the PowerStop Brake Kit for the future (when my current brakes are due for the replacement). I have read good reviews on the web overall, and some - on this forum too.
