I am looking for a pair of 4 x 6z and tweeters. I am looking for clarity over loudness. Anybody have any suggestions.

 

rockford fosgates, polks, jbl, alpine are all good.........but why 4x6???? maxima needs 6.5 inch speakers

 

If you have the bose you don't have the 4X6s. If you have the active speaker system you do. I have Infiniti Kappas which are pretty good. But if you plan to get subs I would look at componets up front.

 

i dont have the bose system.......and my speakers are still 6.5's what do u mean by active speaker system?

 

I would go with the infinity Kappa 4x6 speakers 462.3 they are the best sounding. The active speaker system is Nissans other stereo system(its a clarion system). Its the step down from the bose. You probably only have the active spekaer in the back which means they are amped and you will have to bypass that amp when you do the rear speakers. atleast i had to in my 92' gxe with the active speakers sytem.

 

You have a 95 and he has a 92...I don't know about your sizes but ours w/o bose is 4x6 up front and 6.75s in the rear.

LiLxTodd, what other plans do you have down the road for your system. I might be willing to sell you my 4X6s.
