How much effort to go full throttle?

I have owned a fair share of Nissans one of them being a '13 Altima. With my '13 max the full throttle "button" is extremely hard to depress. It requires a conscious effort to depress which makes for an unpleasant experience. With my '13 Altima you can feel the "button"but it is fluid when depressed.

How stiff is your throttle to the reach past the "button"?

Compared to my Mercedes CLS, I did notice my Maxima's kickdown switch was noticeably harder to depress. Not that it bothered me since I drive with a lead foot, but the more and more I stomp on the accelerator, that little kickdown switch barely phases me anymore and doesn't seem as stiff as before. Maybe it's just me, hm..

After about a year and 16000 miles, I still have not activated that button yet...
Kinda afraid to do it, and also at the same time, waiting for the perfect chance and time to try it out...

Natsumi accelerates quite nicely and quickly without using that button, so the chance has not arisen yet.

It's called the "top of the pedal" and once you've been there you'll know what it's all about.

I like to push the car in three phases, it's rather fun. A little gas and it goes well, a little more and you are like "okay". Then hit the pedal down and...it just goes.

Also, I notice it depends the shoes I have on as to how hard the accelerator is to push. In sandals it is hard, but fast forward to my hiking boots and it goes very easily.

I've never heard of this. You guys got me confused calling it a "button." I'll definitely have to try this. I'm like one of the other guys, I don't really want to try it but it's like I have to do it!

The first few times I had the pedal to the "floor" i was a little disappointed until I realized that pushing it a little harder was necessary. It's firm but once you know it's there then it's a non-issue

How far are you supposed to push it though? I don't get that. Are you pushing it like a doorbell or are you "pushin it" like Salt-N-Pepa?

I love pushing buttons!!!! I haven't heard of this button yet, but I only have 3500 on my car. I might wait a little bit longer before I push this one.
