STA509A- solder it myself questions

Any tips anyone?
Should I remove the circuit board from the case for example?
I do know how to solder

Most importantly:
My component says STA509A, above that is the number SK0710
I have 2 choices on ebay:

One only says STA509A
The other says STA509A, BUT above that is SK0830

How important is the second number mismatch?

I would remove the printed circuit board so that you can do the soldering from the bottom side.

The other number on the IC is a production date code. Nothing to be concerned about.
