Courtesy FSTB Diameter ?

Can someone take a caliper to their bar and post this number?

I just received the fake "Trust of Japan" bar from eBay. It's
almost 0.9" in dia.

Thanks.

How did you meansure in diameter, the bar is not round. It is a flat piece. OR are you talking about taking the thickness of the flat part?

Sorry, I don't have the Courtesy Bar to measure yet. But is that TRUST bar round or oval?

I have it on my webpage, it is FLAT. Mine was a 4th gen made to fit the 5th gen by ghetto rigging it.

Don't worry guys, I think I've got this nailed in the "Cheapest Strut bar?..." thread. I think (hope?) he was just trying to clarify if he's got a Courtesy or "Trust" FSTB.

Courtesy's bar is OVAL, the "Trust"(not!) bar is ROUND.

Sorry, you don't have it nailed!

I'm the one trying to point out that this strut bar is NOT

1. A Courtesy bar.
2. Greddy bar.

The seller on eBay as well as other members on this group are stating items 1 and 2. I am discrediting the two items with facts (by asking for diameters and etc.). This will leave no doubt to others that this bar is NOT a Greddy/Courtesy.

On the oval bar, how about a width and height measurement (think of an elliptical cross section).

Okay, sorry if I was presumptuous about nailing it. Now I'm a bit confused though.

You're saying the round, tubular FSTB with black brackets that you bought off eBay is NOT a Greddy or Courtesy bar, right?

If so, then I AGREE, since:
1)The Courtesy FSTB has red brackets, a flat/oval section bar, and newer ones have "Courtesy Nissan" on them.
2)Greddy AFAIK, does not make 5th Gen FSTBs and this so-called "Trust" FSTB has nothing to do with "Trust of Japan", which is Greddy. I just searched and found this thread: HERE and it sounds pretty convincing.
3)Ludacris, who said you have the Courtesy FSTB, is mistaken since I read that he saw a very old auction where there WAS a Courtesy-like FSTB for sale. But it is not same as the FSTB you have.

In conclusion, the make/origin of your FSTB is unknown. I imagine it's just some Taiwanese company calling their stuff "Trust" and selling stuff hoping people confuse it with Trust of Japan. It's definitely (100%) not a Courtesy FSTB and probably not a Greddy.

AFAIK, there are only 3 5th Gen FSTBs out there: Stillen, Courtesy, and Unknown "Trust".

How's that? (Sorry if anything I said earlier sounded ambiguous.)
