Whoever has the flywheel out there...tell us how it is and whether or not it is a worthwhile mod! Also...I hope we wont be forced to buy this from "Stealin" for almost $700...who else sells it for cheaper?

Yeah, i was always wondering how worth while a flywheel is. I checked the unorthadox one and it's only 5lbs!!! This must make the car rev real quick.

I don't see how the UR flywheeel could weight 5 lbs and still be reliable. It would have to be very, very thin. I mean the Stillen weights 13 lbs? Anybody tried the UR flywheel?

The UR is very nice, and I just got my Findanza, and I will be testing that out as well.

yo_its_ok - Thanks for the explanation. So which one is better? From what your saying the UR has more weight towards the outer edge, meaning more inertia to overcome, but it's lighter over all. While the Mueller/Stillen has less weight towards the outer edge (correct?) but it's heavier overall. Probably no difference?

Overall drivability...Mueller-STILLEN, and the UR...the Mueller developed a small problem when starting the car on occassion it wouldn't catch. The UR which I later switched to retains the stock ring gear, and I had no problems at all.
I recieved the Findanza flywheel, and it looks the same as Mueller, but slightly lighter. I have yet to install next week, and find out.
Really my question was which one gets rpm's up quicker . Sounds like the UR is the way to go - I like that it retains the stock ring gear. I may be interested in buying one from ya. Currently I've got a stock 5 speed and a modded auto (both 2K1's) and need to sell one, but I'm trying to decide which to keep.
