New Owner of a 2009 Maxima
New Owner of a 2009 Maxima
Hello All,
First time poster here. I just purchased a 2009 Maxima SV with Sports Package and Technology Package. Basically has back-up camera, navigation, panoramic sun-roof and paddle shifters.
Anyways is there any tips I should know about using this car and maintaining it?
Also the navigation has locations saved in it from the previous owner, I cannot seem to find a way to delete them. Any advice?
And lastly, I want to be able to use Pandora through my Motorola Bionic on my car speakers. I have the bluetooth paired but I do not see an option to change the audio to phone or some other way. Do I need to use the Aux port?
Anyways any answers and/or advice is much appreciated, thanks in advance.

2009 did not have Bluetooth audio streaming. Can only make phone calls.
Using the RCA hookups In your center console you can hook up red and white RCA to a 3.5mm plug (headphone jack)
Do normal maintenance oil etc. most people say change the Cvt trans fluid at 50k miles

Welcome. Congrats on the new car. For deleting previous destinations, I got to that setting by pushing the physical "SETTING" button below the display, selecting "NAVIGATION", then twist the **** clockwise so that it scrolls down. You should see an option that says "DELETE ALL PREVIOUS DESTINATIONS".
Bluetooth streaming audio requires an adapter of some sort. You should be able to find threads about it in these forums if you search. If I remember correctly the adapter is called a blackberry gateway or something like that. They changed it later on to be built in, but unfortunately for you that wasn't part of your system. I wish I could tell you more, but I don't need it in my '11 so I don't know specifics about the adapter. Good luck figuring it out.
Glad to have you here!
