Drivers seat thigh extender issue.

Hello. I've already posted something similar before....I am now three weeks driving a 2014 maxima SV sport package...and still can't get comfortable in the drivers seat....is anyone else having or had an issue with the fact that the thigh extension is higher then the rest of the seat (foam height)...no matter how I adjust the 10 way seat it still presses against my bottom thigh and is irritating me....does anyone have any suggestions or know what I am talking about?...thinking I should just take it to an auto upholstery place and have it modified myself.

Taking it to an upholstery shop may be your best option. My wife and my youngest son have the same complaint when they drive my car. Ironically though my oldest son and myself don't have a problem, (we're 6'4 and 6'3, while my wife and younger son are 5'4 and 5'9. The shop may be able to remove some of the padding and lessen the overall height of the extension. GL.
