Hello all i just wanted to share my experiences with the 7th gen since i have had two in the past 4 years..

I had leased an 09 sport tech precision grey and then upgraded to a super black 2011 premium tech and boy is the difference night and day! I so miss my 09.

First off the believe it or not the 09 had more interior space. Front seats sat way lower, there was ample space between the seat and the seat belt so there was no wall scrape what so ever! The suspension was so loose and low (never dropped) that i would hug corners and make turns with a breeze! Felt like a true max!

Next the 2011 prem tech came fully loaded with everything and i mean its a completely different car. Sits higher in and out and there is the most annoying pull to the left i have ever experienced in any car. Went to the dealer several times and got alignments through the roof and it still pulls.
suspension is way tighter so now my passengers feel more comfortable but pales in comparison to my 09 sport tech....Boy do i miss that car!

Anyone else noticed differences between models the way i have? I mean the prem tech has the cooling mech under the drivers seat so obviously that raises the seat a bit compared to the 09 sport but whats up with the side wall being tighter and the seat belts scraping my plastic.. And the dreaded pull to the left...idk sound off if u notice any substantial differences

 

I too 2009 Max and now a 2011 Premium Tech package. I loved both cars and have not experienced the problems you mention, but certainly it has to do with your 11. I do not see a difference inside but probably have better driving performance in my 2011. My 09 was an S so I haven't experienced the 19" tires or stiffer suspension. But love my 2011.

 

I have the 09 sport w tech pkg, I only have 24k on it but I love the car, handles great w 20s on. Love the stiff suspension/sport. Fun car to drive

Not sure what I'll buy next after this, have to see the 2015s or what else come out
