pioneer in dash and boyo camera questions

Hey gurus I got the gf a pioneer in dash and boyo backup camera for her 12 maxima and have a few questions for you guys that have been there done that or at least know haha

So for the parking brake how do you bypass it or do I even need to bypass it?

On the pioneer wiring itself has a violet/white for the backup camera that your suppose to hook up to the signal on shifter for reverse?

And finally on the camera itself has a ground and power. Does that go to any power for when car is on or is that to a source of reverse aswell?

Thanks

Oh yeah what's the best steering wheel control adapter

you said you figured out where to hook up reverse wire from pioneer to car. where did you hook it up so that the screen automatically throws the camera up when you put the car in reverse. i have been searching all day to try to find out where the wire is and what color it is. i have a pioneer avhx8500bhs on the way

Camera's both red and black wires should be tapped onto backup light harness. The violet and white wire from the stereo should be connected to red wire on the backup light wiring harness so when the car is put in reverse red wire gets the signal and passes it onto violet/white wire to activate screen and the rca from the camera connects behind the stereo for video. Make sure your video input from backup camera is set to battery on the stereo otherwise it won't display the video.
