I have a 2010 Maxima S and recently purchased a set of turn signal mirrors. I have searched the forums but have not been able to find much info on the subject. I have the wires in the door harness for the signals (or the correct wires according to the service manual). The attached image shows that i should have a black and a gray wire on pins 7 and 8 in the drivers door connector which i do but they do not have any voltage on them with the signals on. The mirrors that i purchased also have 2 wires more than the factory mirrors without signals and these 2 new wires line up with pins 7 and 8 on the connector. Shouldnt they work since the wiring is there? If not does anyone know where i can find a write-up that shows the signal wires that i could tap into inside the cab rather than having to run them outside to the front signals?

On a seperate issue, does anyone know how to make the fog lights work with the high beams on? I was able to find out how to do this easily on my Tundra but i cant seem to find this mod for the Maxima.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

 

If you go to FSM EXL-116 you can see that they do not connect the signal wire for mirror turn signals to the BCM output pin 17 and 18. You would need to try and locate those signals/connectors at the BCM.

 

I dont see what you are referring to. On EXL-116 it doesnt show anything about the turn signals. Maybe I am looking at the wrong thing but here is a link to the FSM that i am viewing.
