Nice man, looks really clean. Are you by any chance considering Eibachs or Coils in the future?

Interesting, maybe it's because I was expecting the drop would be a lot more! Has the ride comfort change in any negative way after the drop and the after the new wheels?

The drop as advertised is only 1.3 front and 1.4 rear if i'm not mistaken. No negatives at all. It feels stock like, less body roll and not bouncy. I asked my wife if she noticed a difference and she stated it felt smoother,go figure. I will be adding the rsb and possibly the endlinks to sure up the rear end.

Hmm. So I wonder how the H&R Springs would work.. I'll have to do a bit more research on these two brands

Remember it is brand new springs he installed and it will take time for it to settle. Only then you will notice the difference in the drop.

To the OP did you installed new struts and shocks or used your OEM's ?

I used the OEM's. The car only has 28k on it and I figured I'd wait to those go before replacing them.

Okay okay. none the less I heard the H&R springs are a lower drop but I wonder how the ride with these springs would compare to the Eibachs?

The difference is VERY small, like .1 of an inch! Plus the H&R springs are quite a bit more; money wise!

Really? In every place that I have looked the H&R springs go up to 2" drop and are consistently cheaper. Again I will do some research so see how they compare to each other.

Apparently a user Racerbox77 has H&R springs installed on his car, pm him.
I was under the impression that they were not avaliable, from other posts I read, but I may be wrong.

Springs are scheduled to be delivered today.
They do not make 7th gen Maxima springs (H&R) , I bought their 4th gen Altima sedan springs.

That is what I found and it was made specifically for our generation of Maximas.

Nobody believes me. Lol. I personally picked up the phone and spoke with an H&R rep.

Nice wheels....Verde Parallax they look like. Someone had posted them on the Maxima FB group a year or so ago and nobody had put them on yet. Glad to see someone did.

The drop will get a little lower than what you currently have. Give the springs some time to settle in. It will be a little lower. When people see the car in pics and then in person, they have told me that it looks lower in person for some reason, haha.

Sorry man but that rep must have been too lazy to really look or they were just feeding you a crock of ****. I have been contemplating on these two brands of springs since August. That is to say that the H&R springs listed for our car have been side by side with the Eibachs at least since then of me looking. Even went to H&R's official site and found this..

H&R put out the part # on their spreadsheet but it hasn't been released yet. It hasn't even been through R&D yet.

Fair enough. It still made it to other sites for shipping none the less, so to me, I take that as being production ready. By the time I actually pull the trigger on this (after the rear end links come back in stock and I install them) there should be no production issues or whatever seems to be the issue, especially since I have switched up on Eibachs and now I'm leaning towards the H&R.

H&R puts out a spreadsheet to all of its distributors. The distributor uploads that info with their own margin mark up in mass quantity (normally) to their site. This is how it works for most.

H&R told me over the phone (he was not just a customer service lacky) that they have nothing scheduled for R&D on the 7th gen yet and haven't for over 3 yrs.

So if I ordered these h&r springs what would I be getting?

The drop with each and hr are about the same. U can only go so low with lowering springs and oem struts. Why are u guys sweating over hr when eibach is readily available?

And u can not just get altima springs, u at least should make sure those springs are for the 6 cylinder versions. The 4 cylinder version for the maxima will not hold up.

Thank you. Yes they are Verde Parallax wheels. I have to agree with you that the wheels and the drop looks better in person.

H&R only makes 1 spring for the sedan Altima.

Racer, did you have to do any mods to the car to make these fit? Other that front Camber bolts and rear camber arms?

To OP -- really like the looks. I find modifications of stock to look bad almost invariably, but yours looks very clean.
On a side note - what do you wax it with? Clear coat looks like an inch of glass. I can't get mine to look so deep and 'wet'.

Not sure what he uses but I use Zaino products on my car and I get lots of comments about my finish. It's really great stuff! Expensive but well worth it!

Thank you. I know when it comes to mods it is very subjective. As far as wax, I am currently using Meguiar's products. Honestly, I am pretty **** when it comes to keeping this car clean. The clear coat seems very soft and scratches easy, plus it seems to attract dirt so it's washed weekly.

I used some Meguiar's wax that I picked up from walmart. When I sprinkle it there are white particles inside the cream that seem hard enough to scratch the clear coat. Put it aside and havent touched it since. I also got their leather conditioner, but makes the leather sticky and tacky on the next day. Got Nature's Honey or something like that from amazon, was #1 in rating, that stuff makes my seats real smooth and yet not sticky. But $20 per small bottle. Its ok, its enough to do the whole car at least 10 times.. All in all I am disapointed in Meguiar's products, thats why I asked. You must have used a different wax. They have so many
