Exhaust

I want to know what exhaust to get on my 99 GLE, I want something that looks good with the round cut on my bumper, like the GReddy, but I want my car to still be quiet, so could I get that silencer thing? I really don't know a lot about exhaust or mufflers, so if someone could help me...

You can go with the Apex-i (?) sport catback exhaust. It's quiet and looks nice.

How much sound does the Greddy add if have a CAI and stock y-pipe? How about just the Greddy with no CAI? I'd like to get the cat-back, but dont want to be banging around like the honda boys.

if u get the catback alone.....the exhaust will give a very nice and throaty sound.......with the cai the exhaust will still be ok........with the y pipe and catback your going to have a LOUD setup.......y pipe + cai.......hahha - u figure that out.......well - the noise that you get isnt really ricey.....but the drone u get at idle may bother you if your concerned about sound

The Greddy has 2 resonators. I have a stillen intake, stillen y, stock cat, and the Greddy. The car is not loud at all. At WOT, I can hear the intake more than the exhaust. Sounds really nice.
<--- me after I got the Greddy on. I had a stillen b w/ an apexi n1. That was loud...

let me remind you this before you buy it. N1 is an universal muffler, so you have to get it welded. greddy is the whole catback. I like the way N1 looks..and all you have to do is just get a b-pipe and that's a catback

so youre just getting the muffleR?
you could just keep the stock muffler on if you dont want noise.

He's right. When I had it on the stock b-pipe, it was quiet. Got the Stillen's and that thing was LOUD. I was like but then it the drowning got me.
