air intake problems

I'm sure this has been covered on here but haven't been able to find it yet. I have a 96 maxima just installed a short ram air intake after installing it car has idled like crap and as time has gone by its starting to die like its chocking itself out. I was very careful as to not damage any of the sensors and all the vacuum lines are connected properly. What am I missing anything I can do to fix the problem?

You probably forgot to reconnect something. Post pics if you can.

Im at work and Dont have access to the car right now its at home but when I removed I removed the stock one there were two sensors and three vacuum hoses. I've looked and looked to make sure there wasn't something I was missing that didn't get reconnected and haven't been able to find anything.

Check to see if any of the hoses got damaged, check for anything that could've gotten knocked loose during the install and double check the connections on the sensors.

Either you've got an air intake leak after the MAF or you left your air temp sensor out the loop

I'm no help but mine ran has not run as good since I put on my sri. Does yours have a hole on the bottom? Mine did and I had to plug it as best as I could. I am currently trying to find an oem to replace it (mine broke while I was working on my starter, which is why I even bought the sri in the first place)

when installing those I think you have to cut a hole for the air intake temp sensor to go in.
