getting ready to buy some parts, who is the best e-bay vendor for the following...

OK so I decided to go with an e-bay knock sensor, and o2 sensors.
I was wondering what vendor that has knock sensors and o2 sensors is the most reliable. I want to replace the one primary upstream o2, and the knowen bad downstream on. I don't make enough money to not get it right the first time. And the prices here at the local parts store are way too expense! Also I need a transmission pan, gasket and hardwear, and a filler neck, where should I shop for that?
I will search in the meantime but if anyone feels like answering to speed the process up a bit, it would be lovely!
Thanks
Nathan

I picked up a Denso O2 sensor for around $25 a while back from Amazon.

Oh, I forgot that you posted a link in my powerloss issue thread. It must be on the first page of it. How much did you pay for the o2's at rockauto?

Did it come with the connector or did you have to splice In? My local APM wants $74.99 for a plug n' play one. Not sure of the brand though. IMHO that's too much unless its an actual NISSAN one, which I doubt.

Well today I went for a 40min. Drive to what I thought was going to be a coil pack score. It was a towing yard out in the middle of nowhere and prices are really fair. anyway the car turned out to be a 99 maxima so the coil packs were a no go. (I never did check to see if the front was the same, however). I ended up telling the Guy that I wanted the filler neck, the Hood props, maybe the KC, (but man it looks harder to get at on the 99), there was also a nice set of Nissan aluminum rims that he said I could have all 4 for $80 so I told him that I'd be back very soon so he could pull it out of the snow so I can get at the rims and filler neck. (I couldn't find a way to open the gas cover without a 12V source, short of prying it off but I don't want to break it because I want that too. I also told him that I needed time to figure out what's interchangeable between 97 - 99. He was cool with holding off crushing it until I had my pick of everything I wanted.
On the way home I decided to stop into Auto Machinery to get a new transmission pan.

I still have to get a gasket and likely the bolts as mine are badly rusted.
What else do you guys think I should pull from that 99 for my 97?

The sensors I got from rockauto were denso direct fit and standard (made by ntk ). Both were plug and play and like $25 each. The universal splice type almost always get a a poor connection so the ecu gets a false reading.

Yep that's why I asked. They ship international I would imagine? Ie: Canada.

Just shooping around at rockauto.com. for the one upstream o2's (ntk), and a Wells KC it will cost $122.29cdn shipped.
What's the deal with the cheaper coil packs they sell there? Are they good, or just OK or are the junk? I'm thinking about adding a couple of Wells or ultrapower brand coils. Is this a bad idea?

OEM coilpacks or bust, aftermarket have the improper amount of resistance in the windings and will almost always cause a CEL.

Re-reading your original post, I am not convinced your issue is with O2 sensors, and the KS code is likey due to the evap code.

What was the price breakdown on the rockauto parts? I didnt realize you were in Canada, shipping is gonna suck.

I like the pan, I would trade Chinese manufacturing for a drain plug any day.

Well for me it was no $25. Its more like $53 for the o2 and $63 for the KS. I'm glad I didn't make the purchase yet. Perhaps I'll hold off on the upstream o2 and KS and just fix that darn filler neck ASAP and see if I can at least get rid of the evap code. Will the filler neck from a 99 (maybe even an 2000, I never checked the month), fit a 97? What about the gas door too. I shouldn't have any problems with the rims fitting would I?
Yeah I like the fact that there is a drain plug on the pan too. I paid $45.50 for it.

So all that bragging they do about the copper in the windings that they say gives a better spark, must be what causes the wrong resistance, or part of the reason.
I see they sell hashian coils there cheaper than locally. I think they were $63/each. Those are true OEM right?
