The first car that I've owned and still my daily driver is soon to be gone. The car was given to me by my father in the fall of 2005 as a gift to my surprise. I was in my first years of college at the time when I was given the car. It was in rough shape but my father managed to fix it up a bit. He bought it off a guy who had it abandoned in his driveway. To me it was the start of a new beginning which our journey has lasted almost 8 years.

Well it is getting closer to that day that I let him go. I got married in the beginning of 2013 and I have since been saving money for a new car. I recently made negotiations on a new car which I should be receiving in about a month. That means that the maxima will possibly be sold as is or it will be parted out. The maxima has been overcome by rust. The undercarriage is in bad shape and the hoses under the hood have started leaking. I've spend a lot of money on mods ever since I discovered this forum in 2008. This car has been with me throughout my twenties and there are a lot of memories. I will miss him the day we part from each other

 

From those pics, you'd never know it was becoming a rust bucket. Glad to hear you had a great 8 years with her.

Also, I don't see too many type II spoilers anymore...

What are your other mods besides what we can see in the pics?

 

Whats the color of the interior?

 

The center console is from a 97-99. I have various i30 parts which include the rear view mirror, the leather e-brake, and the bose headunit. That's pretty much it. Nothing done to the motor since it's an automatic.

 

The interior is black leather.

 

Id be interested in that spoiler and the lip kit if you part it out. Id be interested in the whole car as well depending on the price and your location. I agree with The Wizard, your max looks great. Would never be able to tell it's rusted anywhere from what I see.
