What car is a safe bet to beat?

If betting was involved which current car could a gen 5.5 keep up with/even beat?

Why not get your car running properly first, and then you will be able to find out for yourself.

if your cars running good stock it auto or 6speed?? auto it would be a close race witha any civic 2007 k only anything else sohc walk in the park mustang gt's stock good match thats for auto
now 6 speed it all depends on the driver driver mod some time will shave .300 of a second what mods do you have
