99 SE-L in Crimson Blaze Red with Leather. VERY RARE indeed. I think only 500 were made with that combo. One is on the org someplace. I've seen his car and the specs he's got from Nissan on the numbers and models made in that color. The fact that it has Leather is whats making that a rare one.

That's such a nice car. Price is very high although I guess since it's so rare they might find someone willing to pay it.

i actually have seen teh car in person..




i had the change to get the red maxima with leather and 5spd...it had all options
there were 4 at the dealership.... walk out the door price was $25k... i got mine for $21k
at the time, i didn't need to spend the extra$$$$

 

When I was looking for my max this summer, GP Nissan had 1 Maxima for sale. When came there around last month, there was about 15. The 2k2 is causing lots of trade-ins.

 

That car is way over priced.....I got my red se-l for 19k with the usual options(bose moonroof...etc) it had 14k miles on it and has an extended warranty till 75k .

 

that car is also A LOT more rare than yours....yours has cloth and is AUTOTRAGIC....there are A LOT of red SE-L autos with cloth...hence the price difference.

 

I still cant justify paying that much for a car with over 40k miles.....I dont care how rare it is its a maxima the best selling v-6 in america, their all over. Its not like its a Ferrari F50 where the production was set at x amount of cars.

 

it's still RARE...and thats the whole point...the point isn't that it's a maxima...it's that it's a RARE AS F*CK maxima...some people will pay a lot just to have something that almost nobody else has...

 

which is sad...

i rather buy one without leather and invest in an aftermarket custom leather kit

Bluefish is the correct answer, he had the numbers in his sig, I think he got them from work (smithtown nissan) yes red maximas are nice but I like white the best.

 

Black Waxed Maxima is the best color EVER! red is just there ;-)

best max colors: Black, Crimson red, white (in that order )...I wonder if or will they make that crimson red on 5th gens; they did on 3rd and 4ths

 

3rd gens had aztec red not crimson.

 

Always try to be what you are. If you try imitating someone else, then you end up in the middle of no where ;-) OFCOURSE that color rocks but I wILL NEVER put anyother car color on maxima. Maxima has its own GREAT colors.

 

its ok I like it and for $2500 with other repairs it was a good deal.
