Lost Smart Key & FOB 2011 Maxima

I lost one of the keys for my Nissan Maxima. Is there a way to have the code changed in case someone finds it? I can easily get a new replacement, but I am afraid if someone finds the key, they can gain access to the vehicle.
Any and all options appreciated. Changing the code would be best.

Thanks

Buy a new fob and have them both reprogrammed at the dealer, the one you lost will no longer work. Not long after I purchased my '09 I purchased an extra one off eBay and had all three reprogrammed. No easy solution on the key though. You would have to change the locks on the door and the trunk (if the trunk has a key slot) and that my be costly. FYI the keys are dumb keys, I had one made at wally-world for a dollar and it works fine.

You could just get an aftermarket alarm. 2 birds with one stone.

How much did the dealer charge to reprogram the key(s)?
