What's an "rsb"?

For that matter, what's an "fsb" too?

Don't worry I know what you are talking about....

Anyways, I have a rear strut tower bar and I really cannot tell a difference. Maybe a tinyyyyy amount, but definitely not worth what I paid for that bar.

I think it might be the same story for the front strut tower bar as well.

But the sway bars that go under the car, i have read that if you are not lowered and blah blah blah, you will definitely notice a difference in the way the car handles during turns. Something like the rear end will slide out more during hard cornering, which might be bad for inexperienced drivers. But you might need to double check I am going from memory.

I agree that tower bars aren't as effective as sway. Just wondering if anybody used this type of brand and there opinions on this.

Tower bars do different things than sway bars. And hell yes, a front strut tower bar is an effective mod for a maxima which has nearly 60% of its weight over the front wheels.

Tower bars attempt to keep your shock towers in parallel when your car is taking a hard corner. An FSTB makes your steering more sure footed, inspiring more confident driving.

A sway bar reduces your car body's tendency to roll or sway left to right or right to left in a hard turn.

I'd stay far away from this stuff...The picture is generic, the listing is for a 240, yet it says it's compatible with the Maxima.

You have to realize that lots of ebay sellers are idiots and list their products incorrectly.

The original listing you linked is expired. When you click on the newly relisted item, now it magically fits 205 vehicles...

The only rear anti-sway bars made for the Maxima are Stillen, Progress, or Addco. Stillen and Progress are discontinued, so that leaves you Addco.

No aftermarket front sway bar exists for the Maxima

Would this be something I'd be looking for with Addco? Or is it a bit overpriced tried to comb through classifieds for a used one but no luck.

Yeah, that's it. Although I'd buy it from a more reputable source like Jegs or Summit...just in case hardware is missing etc.

or wait for one to pop up in the classifieds. Usually one pops up for sale every month or two and generally sells for about $110 to $120 shipped.
